Called and Set Free to Build Relationships with God, Each Other, and the World, through Jesus Christ our Lord
Confession and prayer of Salvation
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you want to begin a new relationship with him, you are encouraged to pray these life changing words. After you have spoken the prayer, the journey has only just begun. Now it is time to share your commitment with others and begin studying the Bible and seeking out God’s will for your life. You will also want to be baptized as an outward sign of your new relationship with Jesus. Fr. Paul is always available to help guide and counsel you.
Most merciful God,
I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed,
by what I have done,and by what I have left undone.
I have not loved you with my whole heart;
I have not loved my neighbors as myself.
I am truly sorry and I humbly repent.
For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on me and forgive me; that I may delight in your will,
and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name.
Jesus, I need you. I repent the life I’ve lived apart from you.
Thank you for dying on the cross to take the penalty for my sins.
I believe you are God’s Son and I now receive you as my Savior and Lord.
I commit my life to follow you.
